The Ummites arrived on Earth in the mid-20th century after detecting a radio signal emitted by an Earth scientific vessel. Upon arrival, they blended in with the population thanks to their identical human appearance, establishing operational underground bases. The core of their interaction with humanity was channeled through Fernando Sesma and a select group of intellectuals in Spain, to whom they sent hundreds of typed letters of scientific and philosophical content.
