Sinthianos: the predators of the Andean shadows

Who they are

The Sinthianos are a hybrid reptilian-avian race characterized by their hostile nature and predatory behavior. Within exopolitical cosmology, they represent a regressive faction that operates primarily from underground bases in South America. Unlike other races that seek political manipulation or mind control, the Sinthianos have a purely biological and territorial interest in Earth. Their interaction with human beings is opportunistic and violent.

Origin and place in stellar history

This race is the result of a genetic engineering program carried out by scientists of the Draconian Empire during the Orion Wars. The Draconians crossed genes of warrior reptiles with lineages of high-gravity avian predators to create a caste of terrestrial hunters and trackers. Following the fragmentation of the Orion fronts, scattered groups of Sinthianos escaped their creators and settled in peripheral star systems before colonizing the depths of Earth. On our planet, they inhabit deep caverns and tunnel systems in the Andes Mountains and the Amazon rainforest, isolated areas of the surface that allow them to operate undetected.

Their history with humanity

The Sinthianos are linked to ancient myths of winged monsters, cave demons, and anthropomorphic feathered serpents in pre-Columbian cultures. In the past, they demanded human sacrifices from local tribes in exchange for not destroying their settlements. In the modern era, they are directly responsible for numerous disappearances in mountainous and forested areas of South America, as well as cases of high-precision cattle mutilation. They do not seek dialogue or trade with Earth's governments; they view humans as a biological resource and a food source.

Relationship with other races

Their relationship with the Draconian Empire and the Reptilians is one of involuntary vassalage and distrust. Although they share goals of domination, the Sinthianos avoid direct control by their creators. Their declared enemies are the Aymaranes, who protect the Andean peaks and block the Sinthianos' advance toward the surface. The Galactic Federation maintains active patrols to contain this race's activity in the Earth's subsurface, limiting their ability to leave the planet in spacecraft.

Intentions and interests

The main objective of the Sinthianos is biological survival and the accumulation of fresh genetic material. They use direct physical abduction to extract hormones, vital fluids, and tissues from mammals and humans. These components are essential to stabilize their own genome, which suffers from degeneration due to cloning and inbreeding in their underground colonies. They are hostile and view humanity as an inferior species inhabiting a territory they claim as their own.

What they look like

Physically, the Sinthianos measure between two and two and a half meters (6.5 to 8.2 feet) in height. Their body has an extremely muscular humanoid structure, covered by scaly dark green or grayish skin, from which rough, dark proto-feathers sprout in the area of the shoulders, arms, and back. Their heads combine features of a reptile with a projected jaw and a sharp, horny beak equipped with internal teeth. They have large amber eyes with vertical pupils and sharp claws on their hands and feet. Their ships are crude-looking, constructed from dark metal alloys and shaped like a needle or arrowhead, designed for rapid underground and atmospheric penetration flight.
